Some excellent engaging female folk-rock. You might hear a little Emiliana Torrini, or maybe a shinnier Jewel. She was a founding member of Poi Dog Pondering. Born in San Diego in 1969 she attended college in Hawaii where she met the other members of that band. She also had a role in the movie “Slacker” back in 1991.
