I used to listen hours a day to two stations in Winston-Salem, NC in the mid to late 70s. One of them was an somewhat eclectic station with the call of WKZL (previously WSGH-FM). Here’s a short clip from Jan 1975 when Led Zeppelin performed in nearby Greensboro, NC. (I’ve been archiving some of my cassette tapes while I have been out of work sick and came across this one. Wanted to share it w/you…)

    Man, I wish I was old enough to have seen Led Zeppelin in their heyday….I’ve heard they were a bit sloppy live, but they sound great on the recordings that I’ve heard. Can anyone comment on their live show that might have actually seen them back then?
