I had this song on and old London  45. At least, I think it was London.  Maybe it wasn’t.  I played it to death when I was 9.  Nearly 40 years later, I shouldn’t like this kind of song, but I do.  This bittersweet confection fairly represents US AM radio from that early 70s period.  This mp3 is the real deal, not some later day re-recording.  Terry Jacks plays guitar.  His now estranged wife is the singer.  Perhaps she should have gone with Billy, after all.
